BREAKFAST CASSEROLE

 

4 slices bread                                                  1 tsp. salt

1 pound sausage                                            2 cups milk

6 eggs                                                                  2 cups cheddar cheese,                   1 tsp. mustard                                                                           shredded

 

Tear the slices of bread and place in bottom of a 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Brown and drain sausage and sprinkle on top of bread. Beat eggs with fork; add salt and milk. Pour over sausage and bread, making sure that every piece of bread and sausage are covered. Sprinkle cheese on top. Either bake at 350 for 24 minutes or cover and refrigerate until morning to cook.. (we have found that 24 minutes is not

enough; closer to 40)   KY NEW ERROR.... makes a big dish and is great for overnight company.
