Jumbo Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

 

2 Cups sifted flour                                    1 cup sugar

1 tsp baking soda                         1 cup brown sugar, packed

1 tsp salt                                          2 eggs          

1 tsp ground cinnamon               1 tsp vanilla

3/4 cup butter or margarine      1/4 cup milk

1/2 cup peanut butter                 1-1/2 C quick-cooking oats

1 cup raisins

Sift together flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside. Cream together butter, peanut butter, sugar and brown sugar in bowl until light and fluffy, using electric mixer at medium speed. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in vanilla and milk.

Gradually stir dry ingredients into creamed mixture, blending well. Stir in oats and raisins. Drop mixture by tablespoonfuls, about 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets.

Bake in 350 oven  15 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from sheets, cool on racks. Make 3 doz
