PECAN FUDGE PIE

Ingredients:

1/2 c butter

4 1oz squares unsweetened chocolate

4 eggs, lightly beaten

3 T light corn syrup

1 1/2 c sugar

1/4 t salt

1 t vanilla extract

1 c chopped pecans

1 9-inch pie shell

Directions: Assemble all ingredients and utensils. In top of double boiler or in saucepan over low heat, melt butter and chocolate. Combine in a bowl, beaten eggs, syrup, sugar, salt, vanilla and pecans. Mix well. Add chocolate mixture and mix thoroughly. Pour filling into the pie shell. Bake in a 350° oven for 30 to 35 minutes until filling is set, but soft inside. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
