LAYER SALAD
1 cup cauliflower, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup green onion, chopped
1 pkg. frozen green peas, thawed and drained
1 cup mayonnaise
1 pkg. cheddar cheese, grated
7 strips bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
olives, sliced (optional)
Place alternating layers of vegetables in bowl;
spread mayonnaise over top. Cover with grated cheese and bacon. Garnish with
olives, if desired. Will keep in refrigerator for about one week.
Laura Clark: Layer as follows: lettuce, lots;
onion, not a whole lot; celery; green pepper; green peas (frozen), cooked and
drained; mayonnaise; bacon; grated cheddar cheese. Refrigerate overnight.
