Broccoli-Nut Salad
Prep Time: 20 minutes
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup sugar 1 cup mayonnaise or light mayonnaise 1 lb. broccoli flowerets (6 cups) 8 oz. bacon, crisp-cooked, drained, and crumbled |
. | 1 cup broken toasted
pecans or walnuts 1 cup seedless red grapes and/or raisins 1 small red onion, peeled and sliced very thin |
For dressing, in a small bowl gradually stir vinegar and sugar into the mayonnaise until blended.
In a large serving bowl combine broccoli, bacon, nuts, grapes or raisins, and onion. Pour dressing over broccoli mixture and toss gently to mix. Cover and chill for 2 to 24 hours. Makes 10 to 12 servings.
