Meatballs
1 pound ground beef
1
pound ground pork
2 large eggs,
slightly beaten
1/2 cup freshly
grated Romano/Parmesan
cheese
1/2 cup unseasoned bread crumbs
(maybe more)
1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
leaves 1/4
cup minced fresh basil leaves
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black
pepper.
Mix well, Make walnut sized
balls, fry in olive oil, a few
at a time; when browned , remove to paper towels
